We were referred to the Inn by good friends. We only got to stay two nights but will surely be visiting again as soon as possible. The owners were wonderful and friendly. The Inn itself is unique, clean and quaint. The rooms were clean, comfortable and just felt like home away from home. Directly on the river, 1 minute from the downtown shops in Dillsboro and about 15 minutes from Western Carolina. Much better than staying at a hotel or motel and prices are reasonable. Again, we can't wait to visit with them again soon!
Beautiful setting on the river, and the whitewater sound is very relaxing, like the ocean. I would describe the Inn as eclectic. The decor is very interesting and artistic. We stayed in the Fireside room which was perfect for my handicapped husband, able to get the wheelchair into the room. It was right on the back patio which made it seem like an extension of the room. The room is not ADA because of a small step up into the bathroom, but works great for someone with limited mobility. I was hoping to have my morning coffee on the deck overlooking the river, but alas, the rains came. However, when we packed out we were able to back the car right onto the covered patio and load the wheelchair without getting soaked. TJ & Terry are great hosts.
Just a beautiful place to rest and rejuvenate. Comfortable, thoughtfully created rooms and spaces. I slept like a baby on the soft sheets in a huge comfortable king bed. We stayed in the Riverside Suite We enjoyed swimming in the deliciously cool river and then warming up in the hot tub or soaking in the mineral bath. Every view from anywhere at this inn is wonderful. You can see the mountains in both directions and listen to the sound of gentle water moving all day. We didn't want to leave! Terry and TJ have created such a welcoming and relaxing space. Go and stay at the Dillsboro Inn. You won't be disappointed and I guarantee you will want to return as soon as possible, just like we do!
I needed a room on short notice. And didn't need it long. T.J. was more than helpful to me. Even invited me for yoga class. And as I was leaving, offered me a friendship bracelet. This place was absolutely stunning, and on the river. Room was very cozy and clean. Thank Guys... Your friends from the Moonshine Museum....
